Phonebanking is a great way to connect with voters.  We usually gather in a Zoom room, and there is always training available for newcomers as well as people to support more experienced callers.  We distribute information beforehand so everyone can feel prepared, but no one is expected to be an expert – we can always pass questions on to the candidate’s staff!  Finally, we’re usually calling people who are at least somewhat inclined to vote for our candidate, but sometimes they have questions or need a nudge to actually vote. It’s a great way to make a difference in your sweatpants.
