Post-Election (Celebratory, We Hope) Togetherness!

Sunday, November 22, 2026, 5:00-8:00 pm
McGinty’s in downtown Silver Spring

Join SSPA for an evening of socializing, dancing to great music, yummy refreshments, and fantastic friends (including some you may not have met yet)! Whether we’ll be wildly celebrating or drowning our sorrows, either will be better with the people with whom we’ve spent the previous months trying to save our democracy.

We’ll have local band Close Enough playing the tunes and McGinty’s will be serving their full menu. It’ll be a great evening to mix & mingle and support SSPA – and by popular demand, the first hour will be devoted to soft music to encourage mingling and conversation.  We’ll also be announcing the winner(s) of the first-ever SSPA “Predict the Election Outcome” Contest.

Each admission comes with a free drink ticket!
