Deep Canvassing Infrequent Voters in Philadelphia

 Sunday, June 30, 2024 10:00 am – 5:00 pm

SSPA volunteers will join Changing the Conversation for Progress (CTC) and connect with voters in West Philadelphia through personal stories to persuade them to vote in the critical November elections.

Required Training: CTC’s in-depth training will prepare you for conversations with voters to help you become a great deep canvasser!

Part 1: Start with a virtual Deep Canvassing Orientation/Story Workshop on Thursday, June 20, 7:00-8:45 pm. If you can canvass on June 23 but can’t attend this workshop, please contact Betsy at deepcanvassing@silverspringprogressiveaction.org to find out about alternatives.

If you have already participated in two deep canvassing events with CTC in 2024, you can join the virtual Experienced Canvassers Story Workshop on Monday evening, June 17, 7:00-8:45 pm. Please contact Betsy at deepcanvassing@ssprogressiveaction.org to register.

Part 2: Finish training the morning of Sunday, June 30, starting at 10:00 am before knocking doors in the afternoon and debriefing at the end of the day.

Preference will be given to people who register by June 16.
