Join our informal discussion to learn more about “deep canvassing” – an emerging advocacy campaign technique to engage voters in longer conversations to learn how they feel about an issue (like health care costs or raising the minimum wage) or a campaign. It can help gain quick feedback for (re)directing a campaign and to enable voters to recognize when their voting preferences conflict with their life experience (e.g., they vote Republican, but experience staggering health care costs that the R’s do not address). It can be done in person or by phone. Join us to learn more about this new action and then decide whether it’s for you!
